All of the dentists in our office are members of the American Dental Association and local dentistry societies.  Our office supports our local schools and has contributed over $40,000 to their PTO's.


 
Dr. Henry S. Pinkney

Dr. Pinkney is a 1977 graduate of The University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has practiced in Canton since 1980.  He has had extensive training in the fields of cosmetic and implant dentistry and has published a number of aids used by dentists throughout the country to demonstrate the latest advances in the field of cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Pinkney has worked with local schools to provide dental care without charge for students in need.

He has been married to Shelley since 1977 and is the father of two grown sons.

 
Dr. Joseph Greenbaum

Dr. Greenbaum graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1989 and has worked with Dr. Pinkney since then.  He has advanced training in the field of implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.  He has successfully worked with hundreds of denture and partial denture patients to improve their chewing and comfort.

 
Dr. Phil MacFarland

Dr. MacFarland graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1988.  He completed a residency through the Veterans Administration in Richmond, VA and has been in private practice in Michigan since 1989.  He joined our office in Canton in 1996.  Dr. MacFarland has had extensive training in cosmetics, pain control, and many other aspects of modern dentistry.

 

Dr. Tereze Steinhoff

Dr. Steinhoff joined our practice in 2001.  She is originally from Livonia and attended the University of Michigan Dental School, graduating in 1990.  She first practiced in Chicago and completed a residency program at Michael Reese Hospital.  This rigorous program included advanced training in all aspects of dentistry as well as further training with residents from the medical school.
     Dr. Steinhoff returned to Michigan with her family in 1999.  She enjoys keeping current with new advances in the dental field to ensure that her patients receive not only compassionate care but high quality treatment that is specific to their individual needs.
     Dr. Steinhoff is a dedicated mother and wife and when not in the office is very involved in the activities of her son and daughter.
 
Dr. Kristin Timpner

Dr. Timpner graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2005. She next completed a residency in advanced general dentistry, also at U. Of M. Dr. Timpner joined our practice in 2006 and has exhibited excellence in the fields of diagnostics, patient communication and restorative dentistry. She enjoys being active in the community, her church, and the outdoors. Dr. Timpner recently completed a triathlon.
 
Dr. Brian Schneider (Oral Surgeon)

Dr. Schneider graduated from dental school in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1995. Following a general residency at the University Hospital in Edmonton, he moved to the Detroit area in 1998 and began a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the Detroit Medical Center. After this he entered private practice as an Oral Surgeon. Dr Schneider has re-joined our practice after completing a Craniofacial/Cleft Lip and Palate Fellowship in Cuernavaca, Mexico. He enjoys hiking, camping, tennis, baseball and scuba diving and is kept busy by his wife and five children.

 
Dr. Suzanne Pasternak (Oral Surgeon)

Dr. Pasternak is a 1999 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She then continued on to complete a residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital/Wayne State School of Medicine in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery where she also earned her MD degree. Her areas of interest other than surgery include trauma and maxillofacial reconstruction.

When she is not busy providing patient care, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son play basketball.

 
Dr. Josef Bringas

Dr. Bringas graduated from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry with a Masters in Endodontics (root canals) in 2005. He also holds degrees in dentistry from the University of Detroit Dental School, Indiana University, and the University of the Philippines. He is a recipient of the American Association of Endodontics Foundation's Educator Fellowship Award and is currently a full-time faculty member in the University of Detroit Department of Endodontics.

 
Dr. Erika Johnson (Endodontist)

Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2001. She then served in the U.S. Navy at Paris Island, SC, completing an advanced residency program in general dentistry. Dr. Johnson returned to the University of Michigan to obtain a specialty degree in Endodontics (root canals) in 2006. She has performed research in the field of endodontics and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. Dr. Johnson has been married since 2001 and is the mother of two daughters.
