Drs. Pinkney, Greenbaum, and MacFarland are giving away Free Dentistry to people in need on Saturday June 7 from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. at their office at 42301 Cherry Hill Road in Canton, Michigan.

 

"We have been serving the community for almost 30 years and over that time we have provided free dentistry for children in need through referrals from their school counselors as well as for adults on a case by case basis."states Dr. Pinkney. "This gives us a chance to help the community at large. There are a lot of people out there who are worrying about their homes and the price of gas, let alone fixing their teeth."

 

Dr. Pinkney has been practicing in Canton since 1980 and is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He, along with Drs. Greenbaum and MacFarland, will be joined by Drs. Tereze Steinhoff and Kristin Timpner. Drs. Brian Schneider and Suzanne Pasternak, oral surgeons who work in their Canton office, have also volunteered their time. Dr. Schneider has recently returned from a year in Mexico where he worked doing cleft lip and palate surgery on children.

 

In addition to the doctors, more than 25 of their staff members including dental hygienists, assistants and receptionists have all agreed to volunteer their time on June 7. "Our staff is truly exceptional in their dedication to help people with their dental needs and this is just another example of that dedication." Pinkney stated.

 

"It is my hope that the truly needy in the community, will be first in line to take advantage of this opportunity." said Dr. Pinkney.

Our office will be open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 7, 2008. Patients must be at least 12 years of age to be seen and accompanied by a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.

 

No advance appointments will be made, patients will be given a time for their treatment on a first come, first served basis.

 

FREE treatment will include cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, and pain control. We will be able to see the first 120 people who attend and more if time allows.
